size matters!

As I get ready to relaunch the inkDori in the Grace & Salt ink shop, I’m wondering which size/sizes would you like to see? I said in my last post - community is important to me and I’d love to hear your thoughts… So tell me, what size inkDori do you have and use? Which size would you like to see in the shop for your next purchase?

If you’re new to the world if inkDori, scroll down to get an idea of what sizes are available.

Whispers of the Future. Echos of the past.

One of my friends shared this quote in her creative journal last week and it really jumped out at me - because it feels like where I am standing right now.

Since I stopped making inkDori in 2021 I have really missed them, and I know a number of you have too. I have had emails and DMs on Instagram asking me when I might start making them again… Well, the day has come. The inkDori will be returning to the Grace & Salt ink store shortly!

Journaling supplies i keep close at hand

A dear friend asked me recently how to organise her desk to help her get back into the habit of journaling regularly. What supplies do I have to hand, in easy grabbing reach, that make journaling so easy in my daily pattern…

Inside my inkdori : the besties

Hi there! My name is Claire, I’m 25 and I live with my husband Andy in Bristol, UK. I work with young people in a church here. A few ‘loves’ of mine, other than Jesus and my husband, are: chocolate, coffee, bunnies and (most importantly for today) stationary! I’m a sucker for a good notebook; Andy actually bought me 3 or 4 new notebooks as a Christmas present one year because he couldn’t decide which one I’d like best and said ‘well, more is better right?’. He is right. He’s so right.

Achieving “quiet time” when life is far from quiet

It has been an interesting learning curve finding time to invest in my spiritual life now that life is all about being “Mummy”. Oh how many times have I wanted I time travel back to when I was a student and shake myself silly saying “appreciate how much time you have right now!!” (How much sleep you have!!) “Read things, do things, travel! Do it all!!” I will be honest, I have really struggled, as an introvert, having little to no “me time” since baby bear arrived. (I love her so much, she is a complete blessing in my life and I cannot imagine life without her, but sometimes I just need some time out and I’m counting down to bed time! That being said, whenever I watch her sleep my heart just explodes and I want to wake her up and give her huge cuddles!)
