size matters!
As I get ready to relaunch the inkDori in the Grace & Salt ink shop, I’m wondering which size/sizes would you like to see? I said in my last post - community is important to me and I’d love to hear your thoughts… If you’re new to Grace & Salt ink, new to inkDori - scroll down to get an insight into sizes.
So what are the sizes?
Pocket - Single elastic, fits pocket sized Moleskine, Field Notes, Word Notebooks and other pocket sized journals. It’s designed to take five Moleskine, with a slight overhang to protect your journals.
Pocket Coccon - the same capacity and size as the pocket, but with a wrap over to keep your journals completely snug and protected inside.
B6 - Double elastic, designed to take two B6 journals, such as the Stalogy 1/2 Year Notebook (my personal favourite journal) .
Large - Double elastic, designed to take Moleskine large sized. This can take either one softback journal on one elastic and three cahier on the other, or six cahier, or two soft backs… the combinations go on.
A5 - Double elastic, depending on what brand of notebook you’re using, you can get a fair few in. I’ve had a Leuchtturm1917 on one elastic, and several thinner ‘inserts’ around the other. I’ve also had one full of A5 sketchbooks, those thin stapled ones you can get.
Big Cocoon - I used to make a Large Cocoon and an A5 Cocoon, and then I met in the middle with a Big Cocoon! This has two elastics and can take the above combos from the Large or A5 inkDori, but with a wrap wound to protect the outside edge. If you use a Big Cocoon to store Large Moleskine sized inserts you will have a generous overlap, and if you store A5, it will be a slightly more modest wrap over.
So tell me, what size inkDori do you have and use? Which size would you like to see in the shop for your next purchase?
