Modern Wedding Calligraphy for a December Wedding
For this beautifully styled wedding, Grace & Salt ink created handwritten place cards, table signage and personalised reservation sign to complement the couple’s black and white styling.
The client wanted bold brush lettering in black on white, for a wedding of around sixty guests. This was a change in the plan quite late in the day, requiring a quick turn around in the run up to Christmas. The fifty eight name were boldly lettered in a clean modern style onto crisp fine quality GF Smith 135gsm C6 envelopes, giving a super luxurious feel. Whilst the seven table names, New York City locations important to the couple, were lettered onto A5 card. There was also a last minute special addition of an A4 memorial sign lettered onto fine quality GF Smith 270gsm paper.
It was really delightful to see my pieces of wedding calligraphy come together with the beautifully venue styled by the clients wedding stylist. The signage was clear without being distracting.
